Hello, I’m Kylie, maker, creator & founder of Richmond Botanicals Co. establised in 2014

With the help of my family we are obsessed about creating & producing unique beautiful  hand made products.

We adore gardening, especially growing botanicals for our handcrafted products. We love the simple things, we work too hard but we love every minute of it.

Our goal is to have a sustainable business that’s good for us and our environment and to limit the use of single use plastic.

Inspiration for this adventure began when we couldn’t locally source natural bath & beauty products. So we created our own. Simply wanting natural, local products with a plant based, organic/wildcrafted ingredient list thats easy to understand.

So our journey began, making cold process soap and the difference in our skin amazed us all. We were addicted.
We started formulating with organic butters, oils, clays and locally grown botanicals and now have a wide range of products. All created from raw ingredients, as local as possible, from recipes we have created & been refining for decades.

RBCo. is based in Southern Tasmania’s Coal River Valley, in the historic town of Richmond, at Bellevue House (circa 1840). This property is also our home, we have lovingly restored the sandstone Georgian house, outbuildings and garden.

We now also offer Gin Tastings in our renovated servants quarters. With our locally made gin on offer, Bellevue House 1840 Gin.

Bellevue House is a 180 year old property that now houses our RBCo. store, studio and gallery. All located in the old stables and servants quarters, we even have a prison cell that housed the local ‘drunk and incapable’. Please come and visit our unique hidden gem.
